What to Expect During Women’s World Cup Skiing 2023

The Stifel Killington Cup is scheduled to kick off the weekend after Thanksgiving on Friday, November 24th, and run through Sunday, November 26th. This event has attracted a record-breaking number of spectators in past years, and 2023’s event is anticipated to be one of the biggest ever. The field is slated to be stacked with some of the most prolific female alpine competition skiers in the world, including big names like Mikaela Shiffrin and Paula Molzan.

The Stifel Killington Cup Venue

The Superstar Trail is where both of the World Cup races are held during the event. Spectators can gather at the finish area and the K-1 Base area. Naturally, this is an outdoor venue, so be sure to dress warm and wear good footwear. You can get excellent views of the race at different places along the racecourse. However, two jumbo screens also give spectators views if they’re hanging out on the upper part of the trail. Other than ADA-accessible viewing areas, all spectator areas are standing room only with no chairs.

Concerts and Entertainment

The weekend is full of fun and events for attendees at the Women’s World Cup. Concerts are held on both Saturday and Sunday and are scheduled to host a mix of talent, including Young the Giant and Mix Master Mike. A huge afterparty kicks off Saturday at the Wobbly Barn with the Krishna Guthrie Band, a special guest DJ, and more. A fireworks show marks the end of the Killington Cup on Sunday, and food and drinks are available from multiple vendors in the Festival Village.

Where to Park

The Killington Resort opens up its parking for all event attendees for free. Shuttles are also available to get around the park during the event. However, unless you are staying at the resort, overnight parking is not allowed. Limited parking in the K-1 preferred parking lot is also available for a fee if you can catch a spot in time.
