What Is Music By The River?
Taking place on the banks of the beautiful Ottauquechee River, Music by the River combines a lush natural setting with fantastic music from a variety of genres.
It’s a festival for everyone. You’ll see families enjoying a picnic dinner and groups of friends enjoying the vibe. And of course, it’s the perfect venue for a date night.

Welcome to a Community Tradition
Pentangle Arts is proud to present the music to the community and visitors free of charge. However, programming has many costs associated with it, including musician fees, permits, promotions, sound engineering, and staging. They do rely on community support to make it all come together.
Along with the Music by the River series, East End Park also hosts entertainment on Wednesdays from June 22nd to September 28th. The spirit of inclusion and involvement makes these festivals a treasured community tradition.
The 2025 Artist Lineup Has Something for Everyone
From cherished local artists like Jay Nash to Southern blues with the Cash Box Kings and internationally acclaimed jazz duo Tuck and Patti, the Music by the River series offers a wide array of music that caters to all musical tastes. Check out the lineup here:
